“ What a hidden gem in a beautiful courtyard garden area. The food was ready to go just pick out what you like. Good prices and very filling. Sat outside and some ducks came up to try and get some food from me. ”
“ Oishikatta desu!!! I walked over to this place since it’s a few blocks from my hotel, and I was so happy to find the owners are Japanese(I’m visiting Hawaii from Japan). There are tons of pre made options: onigiri, musubi, bentos, dango, etc. I tried the spicy tuna onigiri, spam musubi, dango, and a half and half poke bowl(half soy, half spicy). The bowl was delicious and the other items I tried were wonderful. The woman working the register(I assume the owner) was very nice and I even practiced my Japanese. I would definitely come back to try some of the other options. If you are staying in Waikiki or Ala Moana area I highly recommend trying this place out. Gochisousamadeshita! ”
“ A hidden gem! There are delicious hand-made bento boxes and snacks to-go! Highly a recommend if thinking of bringing something light to eat at the beach. There is outside seating under a shaded tree. ”
“ *This place is open on Saturdays* Another hidden gem of West Waikiki! It’s small but offers impressive musubi and bento options. It’s a great place to stop by on your way to the beach, hotel, North Shore, or any other destination! There are plenty of common areas right outside with various seating options. Highly recommended! ”
“ A hidden gem tucked away from main street, it's located right behind Eaton Square. My favorite spot picking up some food for my flight home. No dine in, pick-up only, I'm sure you can sit outside adjacent to the pond admiring the Koi and ducks. ”
“ This place is an amazing hidden gem. It really is hidden inside a little apartment complex/plaza. The staff was so friendly as I was the first person there when it opened. I ordered the spam, spam & egg, unagi & egg musubi, and also a few poke bowls. Everything I ate was amazing. They mill their own rice as well. I could smell the freshly cooked rice through my backpack when I was taking it back to my hotel. This is a perfect place for people to research and discover for themselves. ”
“ We picked up 4 different bentos and each was well prepared and very tasty. I had the pork belly and it was one of the better pork belly dishes I’ve had. ”
“ This place is so cute! We got off the flight and on our way to Pearl Harbor, so we decided to stop by and grab something quick. They have all kind of rice balls and some bento boxes like you would see in Japan. the poke only has tuna in it but still good. We also got the unagi bowl to try. The outdoor seating area is nice and relax too! ”
